This Privacy Policy explains how SriSubha handles personal information in connection with the SriSubha website, panchangam and related calculators, SriSubha accounts, saved birth profiles, location-related features, and messages sent to feedback@srisubha.com.

When you create a SriSubha account, you may provide your name and email address and may choose to add a profile image. You may sign in using an email address and password or through supported third-party sign-in providers such as Google or Facebook.

If you create or save a birth profile, the information may include a birth date, birth time, an indication that the birth time is unknown, and a birth place. A saved birth place may include a city, region, country, geographic coordinates, and time zone.

If you contact us at feedback@srisubha.com, we receive the contents of your message and any personal information you choose to include.

SriSubha uses browser storage and cookies to remember certain preferences, including display settings and your last selected city.

If you choose the Current Location feature and give your device permission to share its location, SriSubha uses the location provided by your device for the requested feature. If you do not provide device location, our hosting infrastructure may use your IP address to determine an approximate city or geographic area.

When you are signed in, SriSubha records information associated with your session, including your IP address and browser type, and uses an httpOnly session cookie to maintain your authenticated session.

We use the information described in this policy to provide and operate SriSubha, calculate and display requested results, maintain your account and authenticated session, remember your preferences and recently selected location, prefill saved birth information, send account verification and password-reset messages, respond to communications, maintain the security of the service, and investigate or prevent misuse.

SriSubha uses essential cookies and browser storage for functions such as display preferences, remembering your last selected city, and maintaining your sign-in session.

We do not currently use advertising cookies or analytics cookies.

If you choose to sign in using Google or Facebook, that provider participates in the authentication process. SriSubha receives the identity information made available by the provider, which may include your name, email address, and profile image.

SriSubha does not post content to your Google or Facebook account on your behalf.

Your use of Google or Facebook is also subject to that provider's own privacy policy and terms.

SriSubha does not sell your personal information.

SriSubha uses service providers to operate the website and provide supporting services. The site is hosted on Vercel, which may process technical information associated with requests, including an approximate location derived from an IP address.

Account-related email is sent through an email service provider. Account and saved birth-profile information are stored in SriSubha's database. Google or Facebook may receive or provide information as part of the sign-in process when you choose to authenticate using that provider.

We may also disclose information where reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, protect the security or integrity of the service, enforce our terms, or protect the rights and safety of SriSubha, our users, or others.

We retain account and saved birth-profile information while your account remains active, unless a different retention period is required or permitted by applicable law.

When you delete your account, we remove the profile, saved birth details, and associated sessions as described in this policy, subject to information that may need to be retained for legitimate operational, security, legal, or compliance purposes.

Sign-in sessions remain active until you sign out or the session expires. Display-preference and last-city cookies are retained for approximately one year. Messages sent to feedback@srisubha.com are retained for as long as reasonably necessary to handle and respond to them.

You may delete your SriSubha account using the available account controls. Account deletion removes your profile, saved birth details, and sessions, subject to the retention circumstances described in this policy.

Before deleting your account, you may request a copy of the personal information associated with your account by emailing feedback@srisubha.com. We may need to verify your identity before providing account information.

SriSubha takes reasonable measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No internet service or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for notifying us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

SriSubha is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly maintain an account for a child under 16. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 16, we will take reasonable steps to delete the account and associated personal information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to SriSubha, our information practices, or applicable requirements.

When we make changes, we will publish the revised policy on this page and update the date shown above. You should review this page periodically for the latest version.
